Genshin OC Maker

Genshin Impact characters are designed from the outside in: element first, then nation, then the outfit details that hint at both. An OC built in the same order looks like it could appear in the game.

The maker opens on the Top tab. Before you pick clothes, choose the Vision, because the element sets the accent color for the whole design.

Vision and color

There are seven elements, each with its own color. Use it as your accent and repeat it on the necklace, sash or sticker.

• Pyro: red and orange.
• Hydro: blue.
• Anemo: teal and mint.
• Electro: purple.
• Dendro: green.
• Cryo: pale icy blue and white.
• Geo: gold and amber.

Nation and outfit

Each nation has a clothing language. Mondstadt is medieval European: the Tunic, Cape and Boots. Inazuma draws on Japanese dress, so the Kimono fits well. For Liyue, the Tunic with its sash is the closest match. Sumeru favors layered desert and forest clothing with jewelry, so add a Necklace and warm colors. Fontaine is formal and theatrical: the Blazer and tie or the Dress. Pick the nation and the outfit narrows itself.

Weapon and role

Characters in the game use one of five weapon types: sword, claymore, polearm, bow or catalyst. The weapon suggests the build of the character. Claymore users look sturdy, catalyst users look scholarly, bow users look light and quick. Decide the weapon and a role in the party, damage dealer, support or healer, and write a constellation name to finish the profile.
