Plan the palette first

Good avatars are built on two or three colors. Decide them here, where changing your mind is free.

Base: the main clothing color, usually black, white or a pastel.
Hair: a color that contrasts with the base.
Accent: one bright color repeated on two small items.

Building around free items

The avatar shop has plenty of free clothing and accessories. An outfit made from free items looks deliberate when the colors match. Once your palette is set here, search the shop by color and item type, such as "black jacket" or "white headphones", and pick the closest free match. Save paid purchases for the one item that defines the look.

Several outfits, one identity

Players often keep a few saved outfits for different games. Keep the hair and face the same across them and change only the clothes, so friends still recognize you. Plan each outfit here, save the Copy links, and you have a wardrobe list to work through.
