Wings of Fire OC Maker: Your original character

Wings of Fire OC Maker

Tribe, scale colors and a name. Plan your dragon with a human-style version, wings and all.

Accessory color

A Wings of Fire OC begins with the tribe. Each tribe has its own scale colors, body shape and abilities, so choosing one settles most of the design. Hybrids of two tribes are the fandom's favorite way to make something new.

This maker cannot draw a dragon. It draws a human-style character, which fans call a human AU version, with Horns, wings and a tail. Use it to settle the palette and personality, and to picture your dragon as a person.

Tribes and their colors

Use the tribe colors for hair, wings and outfit.

  • SkyWings: red, orange and gold. Large wings and a fierce temper.
  • SeaWings: blue and green, with glowing markings.
  • IceWings: white and pale blue, sharp and proud.
  • NightWings: black and deep purple, with star-like silver scales under the wings.
  • RainWings: any bright color, since their scales change with mood.
  • SandWings: pale gold and tan.
  • MudWings: brown, amber and warm earth tones.

Turning a dragon into a person

Hair takes the main scale color. Wings come from the Wings tab: Bat wings are the closest shape, and the accessory color sets them. Add Horns from Headwear and a Demon tail. Elf ears and Sharp eyes with a Fang keep the face a little reptilian. For clothes, the Tunic and Cape suit the books' setting.

Naming your dragon

Each tribe names its dragonets in its own way. SeaWings use ocean words, SandWings use desert plants and animals, IceWings use cold and polar words, and NightWings often use compound names that describe a power or hope. Choose a name that follows your tribe's habit. A hybrid can blend both parents' naming styles.
